Persevere (Pistol 2)
When the chips are down can you do what is needed to finish the fight? The purpose of this course is to give you the experience and tools needed to overcome and win against unfavorable odds. To bolster your mental and physical capabilities so you can not only continue to fight while diminished but achieve victory!
During this course we will cover the following topics: fighting from disadvantageous positions, fighting with compromised motor skills and diminished vision, target discrimination, use of cover & concealment, use of unconventional shooting positions, close quarter fighting techniques, treating life threating injuries on yourself and others, shooting while stressed, striking and grappling prior to and during your draw, crowded environments, one handed weapon manipulations with multiple impairments, and more...
You will experience failure points in this class and be lead through your development into a more complete fighter and protector that will never quit and always Persevere!
**This course is moderately demanding physically. You don't have to be in excellent cardiovascular condition to take this course.**
Required:
Mouth Guard
A quality semi-automatic pistol (having a backup is recommended)
A kydex-type holster affording trigger guard coverage
Magazines to hold 36rds per drill (Double stack mags=3-4; Single-stack mags=6-7)
At least 1 spare magazine holder
450 rounds of factory loaded ammunition
Ear and eye protection
This course is moderately demanding physically. You don't have to be in excellent cardiovascular condition to take this course.
Packed Lunch- Instruction will continue with lecture during lunch
Clothing suitable for inclement weather
Optional:
Sunscreen / Bug Spray (Both highly recommended)

Training is open to all U.S citizens who are legally allowed to possess a firearm.
There is no minimum age to take this class. However, students under 18 years of age are required to attend the class together with a participating adult.
Purchasing a spot in a course is a commitment to train. If you cannot attend the course for any reason, please notify 540 Defense by phone or by email as soon as possible so we may inform your instructor(s).
