Patrol Readiness- Pistol 1
This is the first class in the Patrol Readiness series. In this class you will build or bolster the foundation on which your firearms safety, draw efficiency, pistol marksmanship fundamentals, decision making skills, etc will be built on.
During this course you will cover: Firearm Safety, Drawing from the Holster, Pistol Marksmanship Fundamentals-ranges 5yds to 25yds, Grip, Stance, Movement, Muzzle and Trigger Finger Discipline, Single Man Room Clearing Techniques, Target Discrimination, Use of Verbal Commands, Scanning the Human Body, Firing from Sul, Challenge, and High Ready Positions, Precision and Hostage Shots from 5-15yds.
Your pistol marksmanship and decision making skills will be tested throughout the day. Each officer will get the drills and coaching they need to not only improve, but also help their fellow officers get better by taking back those lessons learned to their respective department.
